In my hurry last night I forgot to mention the receipt of your letter which You mention in your letter to me of to day it came duly to hand at 7 oclock by the mail. I look at the reservoir and there was about a foot of water in it I shall endeavour to fill it to morrow if possible. Bayles brought five chester white pigs yesterday [which] was al 1 he could procure of that breed but he says that he will send us one or two more when he can procure them. I did not ask Jim concerning the Celery plants as yett but as some of the Boys or Children or Minervas will be going to town next week some time they can be got then. I saw John Henry Peters and spoke to him about the grape vines over mill hill he will come down on Sunday morning will go over and look at them. Mr. Hutton gave me a note for you a notice of the [ Jestry meeting which will take place on Monday Evening at 8. (o] clock. The family at Oyster Bay are all getting along comfortably and are in good health as this leaves me I suppose from what you said on Thursday that you intend coming up on Saturday night. And the rest of the Oyster Bay news you will be told then Mr. & Mrs. Solomon Townsend the children and all the youngsters as the message was delivered were invited to a party at Mrs. Fiest (as I suppose they spell the name) this evening but nobody from Rheinam Hall went to it.
